Suzanne Martinez, Coordinator, Congregational Outreach

Suzanne is coordinator for Congregational Outreach for the Office for Mission and Spiritual Care for Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Condell and Sherman Hospital.  Suzanne supports the area churches with Health and Wellness education seminars, for physical, mental and social well-being.  In collaboration with the churches, Suzanne develops and initiates new programs and activities which strengthen partnerships between the Advocate Aurora and congregations all the while supporting health and wellness of body, mind and spirit, a “holistic” approach to caring for the whole person.

Advocate Aurora Health is redefining the standard for care with world-class doctors and caregivers, innovative solutions, outstanding outcomes, and leading-edge research and clinical trials.

Learn the impacts of ACEs and the effects when children experience early trauma.  Trauma-informed interventions can help to mitigate negative outcomes.

A focused approach on reducing ACEs can help prevent child maltreatment, produce healthier outcomes for children and families in turn the community at large.
